Beer Scoring

All CAMRA members are strongly encouraged to score their beer on every pub visit. The new scoring system launched on Monday, 1 June 2026. These scores apply only to cask ales and are used to select entries for the Good Beer Guide (GBG) and monitor beer quality.

To access the scoring system, please follow these steps.

  1. Go to the CAMRA national website and log in with your CAMRA membership number and password.
  2. To find the pub, enter the name of the village or town where it’s located, or the pub name followed by the village or town name. If using a smartphone, use the “Pubs nearby” button to find the pub automatically.
  3. Select the “+” in the top-right corner of the pub photo you’re in. This will open a menu where you can choose “Beer score“.
  4. Scroll up to reveal the “Submit” options
